On the 2nd of October 2017, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between: G Vincenti & Sons Sal & the United Nations Development Programme (“UNDP”), for a yearly joined project “No Hunger”.

The parties will cooperate in organizing Barilla pasta lunches for a minimum of 1,000 person in need every month in a different host community primarily to raise awareness on food security issues host and refugees’ communities face, creating and strengthening bonds between host community residents and refugees and enabling dialogue and collaboration amongst the community;

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Beirut in the presence of Barilla’s Chairman: Mr. Guido Barilla, as well as Mr. Claudio Colzani ( Barilla CEO) as well as Giuseppe Vincenti ( CEO of G Vincenti & Sons) and Mr Philip Lazzarini (UN Resident & Humanitarian Coordinator for Lebanon and UNDP Resident Representative)
